On November 14, 2025, Avignon University hosted the Journée Relais Culture Europe, an event dedicated to promoting European opportunities for cultural actors. Organized with the support of PUI Provence, this day brought together numerous teachers, researchers, cultural professionals, and institutional partners from the region, illustrating a strong collective dynamic around the development of European projects.
After opening remarks by Isabelle Brianso, Vice President for Culture, and Laurent Lombard, Scientific Director of Villa Créative, the morning began with a plenary conference dedicated to the presentation of the Creative Europe program. Hosted by Relais Culture Europe, it brought together Stéphane Segreto Aguilar, its director, as well as Fabienne Trotte and Annwenn Jégou, who provided rich and concrete insights into funding mechanisms, program priorities, and the tools available to support the emergence of cultural projects with a European dimension.
This session was also enriched by the feedback from two project leaders supported by Relais Culture Europe, Dominique Cunin and Fanny Roustan, who shared their experiences, lessons learned, and the challenges involved in setting up European projects.
